The Municipal Hall of Sta. Rosa served as the venue for the Cervical Cancer Orientation and Training Session held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
The activity was spearheaded by the End Cervical Cancer Philippines Organization Inc. (ECCPOI), led by Dr. Bogs Rivera, with co-trainers Ms. Gelyn Soleman, Mr. Tony Cama, and Ms. Brenda Cama. The session focused on raising awareness, strengthening knowledge, and providing practical training on the prevention, early detection, and management of cervical cancer.
This health initiative was made possible through the efforts of The Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles, under the leadership of National President Ronald F. Delos Santos, with the strong support of Eagle Ronald D. Talens, National Treasurer (EY 2025–2026) and Governor of CLR 24 Host Region.
The program was graced by local leaders including Mayor Tupeng Aguilar, Vice Mayor Richard Dimacali, and Dr. Ces Barayuga-Mangrubang, the Municipal Health Officer of Sta. Rosa.
The event gathered all Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) of Sta. Rosa, reflecting the municipality’s united commitment to public health and women’s empowerment. Through the session, Sta. Rosa continues to champion proactive measures in combating cervical cancer, with its frontliners better equipped to extend knowledge and care to their communities.
