| Normal cervix, acetic acid pool visible at 6 o’clock. | No medical intervention required. Call for re-screening according to established policy. |

Call for re-screening, if 35 years or above, according to established policy. |

| Ectopy (erythroplasia): normal physiological change seen during pregnancy and puerperium | No medical intervention required.
Call for re-screening, if 35 years or above, according to established policy. |

| Abnormal cervix | Take swab for culture and send to laboratory (if facilities available).
Refer the patient to the Primary Health Clinic. |

| Cervicitis | Take swab for culture and send to laboratory (if facilities available).
Refer the patient to the Primary Health Clinic. |

| Nabothian follicles (chronic cervicitis) | Take swab for culture and send to laboratory (if facilities available).
Refer the patient to the Primary Health Clinic. |

| Cervical polyp (benign) | No medical intervention required.
Call for re-screening, if 35 years or above, according to established policy. |

| Cervical cancer | Refer the patient to the Oncology Centre. |   |
