NARRATION:

The University of Santo Tomas Medical Alumni Association will host a medical mission at the Parish and National Shrine of Saint Padre Pio in Santo Tomas Batangas this Sunday, September 10 beginning from 7 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon.

Among those to attend the medical mission will be the Hospital of Wheels and End Cervical Cancer Philippines. In line with the medical mission, the ECCP will showcase a game-changer test to detect early cervical precancer that will help save thousands of women’s lives.

The device is portable, battery operated, and can be employed even by a trained barangay health worker. With the help of artificial intelligence, doctors make the final diagnosis onsite, or remotely, via telediagnosis. Results are given to patients on the spot and are made available in the cloud for download.

Should a patient be suspected to have cervical pre-cancer, they can be treated right away. Or, retesting can be done after a month, with thermal ablation treatment if found to be truly positive. The cost of treatment can be made FREE should the patient have PHIL HEALTH.

“Should you be interested in observing, or want to experience handling the screening yourself, or understand how to deploy both screening and treatment in your community, or how to implement it using Rotary’s global grant, please do not hesitate to contact us with our number below, or come see us, this Sunday.”

We look forward to seeing you there.
