We Teal As One : The Philippines’ Commitment to Eradicate Cervical Cancer

Empowered women, empower women.⁣ ⁣

Today marks the first anniversary of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) launch of the Strategy to Accelerate the Elimination of Cervical Cancer.⁣ ⁣

CerviQ, in partnership with Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines, Inc. (IWCPI), will echo the call of the WHO to take action on this global crisis afflicting women.⁣ ⁣

The formidable partnership between CerviQ and IWCPI will bring hope to all Filipino women who are suffering from cervical cancer most especially those who are unaware of their cervical health.⁣ ⁣

Our pledge of commitment to eradicating cervical cancer in our country will be highlighted in today’s Glow Teal lighting ceremony which symbolizes aspiration to advocates to give a light of hope to all women and empower them to make an active choice and control over their health.⁣ ⁣

Catch us today at 4 PM and join us in our advocacy. Let no woman be left behind. Together, we can end cervical cancer. Let’s teal as one!⁣

OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS THUS FAR

Based from the WHO elimination strategy,  the 90-70-90 targets must be met by 2030 for countries to be on the path towards cervical cancer elimination. We officially will start May 2021 and already foresee an uphill challenge in accomplishing this goal. This board shall serve as our inspiration to remind us of our commitment and to push our work to attain our goal.
